Yanco Lions Club meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at the Yanco Allservicemens Club 7 pm for 7-30pm start. A first class meal is served for only $12 per head.


Ordinary people doing extraordinary things -

 Supporting people with a disability,

 Local education support and fundraising for worthwhile causes.

Our members participate in raising funds by selling raffle tickets at the monthly Yanco markets,

 Conduct a christmas cake drive and a yearly Ham raffle held in the last week of November to help raise funds for local education.

In addition to these fundraizers a yearly Garage sale has netted substatial funds for the local Volunteer Rescue Sqad and Fire brigade service. This year funds went to the Eventide Homes Committee.

Attend the Vintage Car Show and shine at the old caravan park Leeton with Leeton club also helping out with their Merry-go-round and Lions train.

Australia Day Breakfast Lions preparing the food on the BBQ.

We meet the needs of our local communities and the world. 

Lions assist the Vintage Show and Shine by providing food with their new Chip cooker and BBQ.

Over 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more to become a Beacon of Hope.

Becoming a Lion


Narrandera and Yanco Lions combine to man the driver reviver station outside the Information Centre in Narrandera during school holidays.

Lions club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community as well as in communities worldwide. Their volunteer efforts go beyond the support of vision care, to addressing unmet health and education needs worldwide.

Community Service

Donation from the Garage Sale $13,000 to the Yanco Powerhouse Museum Association.

Donation handed to Country hope

Congratulations and thanks for the purchase to those involved. Plan for Murphy Family. Aim: To purchase a stair way lift to be fitted to the home.

Donation of $6000 to help the committee of Eventide homes Yanco

Erected Playground Equipment at McCaughey Park Yanco.

Submission for a all weather venue for the community at the old tennis club with $120,000 on offer from the Leeton Shire Council.

Cemented apron under the Awning at the Yanco Community Hall.

Donated an Eye Injury probe machine with funds from our Ute and Boat Art Union raffle. 

Donated $15,000 to the Careflite Rescue Helicopter Service.

Lions are people who get involved in humanitarian efforts locally, nationally, and internationally.

Promote the building of a heated swimming pool on the old Yanco tennis courts.
